Eighteen years following his debut recording of Bach's Six Partitas, Jean Louis Steuerman embarked on recording another pinnacle of the composer's keyboard repertoire: the Goldberg Variations. Along with Steuerman’s account of the work, this project also features a 32-section stream-of-consciousness essay by Hubert Nyssen.
